Playing around

This week is being taken up with niggly little ammendments I have to do on some of my pop up designs post Surtex so no new work from me just yet! Last week I was playing around with photographing some of my favourite belongings and trying to do something wonderful (!) with them with the idea of turning them into prints for our new house (which we're still very far off from moving into but planning for it keeps me going!) Here's a little example...

Pictures of gift bags and an actual gift bag!

My agent has returned from Surtex with this gift bag produced by Garven with my design. I've taken these pictures on my phone so please forgive the poor poor quality! I've also included a section of the design so you can have a closer look...

Also brought back from New York were the Shalom International Corp. catalogues...they also produce gift bags and have used several of my designs. Again, the photos are terrible quality, apologies! But have included the original designs for a closer look.

It's always nice to see how my designs have been used!

Some for the wall...

I've been having an easy week this week as the last few weeks have been so hectic. I've been playing around with some prints for our new house, I've been adapting the repeat from my banner above to make it more house (and boy) friendly!

Hen do, hen do...

I've just come back from a weekend away for my sisters hen do. To keep with tradition I was in charge of 'decorating' her but I like to think in a more stylish way! As the plan for the weekend was to sit around and eat garlic bread we all wore the same pajamas...but my sister had a little surprise on the back of hers...

Many thanks to my mum for the pretty stitching and ironing skills!

Phew! Surtex is almost here...

I've been extremely busy the past few weeks preparing for Surtex in New York. This will be my 4th year exhibiting at Surtex through my licensing agency Inspire by Design and fingers crossed it'll be a good one! My work can be seen in Hall 3, booth 324/326.
