a new way to blog

I love blogs. But how do people find the time? I want to be a fantastic blogger who spends time lovingly updating and adding new posts but JUST DON'T SEEM TO FIND THE TIME!!! As mostly what I post is my own work I often feel like 'that's not quite ready for posting yet' so my new way to blog is to....screen grab! I'm going to screen grab sections of my work as I'm creating them to give you a sneak peak of what I'm working on. That way I can blog more often without being too precious. Brilliant!!

Continuing on the medallion theme of my last post I've been working on some new Christmas designs to fit. Here's a sneaky peak...

Have finally got round to doing some new work after the big move. I just want to focus all my time on our new house now, but can't as unfortunately a mortgage comes with a house! Luckily these new designs will be tweaked and turned into prints for the living room, very handy indeed!!

A Glorious Glastonbury!

Apart from a touch of a thunderstorm on Thursday night, the weather was wonderful! Definitely 3rd time lucky for me.
Now I'm back I'm currently in the boring process of packing but then it gets exciting as we are moving to our new house! So there may not be many posts from me from a while....see you soon!

I'm off to glastonbury tomorrow...

For Fathers day

Father's day is on Sunday (and my birthday!) so here's a design for the dads.

Another oldie...

After realising I'd not posted for a week I was looking through my archive of work searching for inspiration and decided to post this design. It is rather old but some of you in the UK might recognise it from when you've been stood in the queue at Primark! It is handily stocked underneath the tills, only £1!!

Some oldies

I have been so unproductive for the past couple of weeks and I'm starting to feel rather guilty about it. I'm posting some very old work from a couple of years ago...just to make me feel like I'm doing something! Also it doesn't feel right to be posting any new Christmas work I have when the weather has been so glorious lately.

In other news we have just exchanged contracts on our new house and have a date for the big move in...all very exciting stuff! So be prepared for photos of painted walls, prints, sofas and the all important retro fridge freezer over the next couple of months...this blog is very likely to be interiors led for a bit I think.

Another hen do...

I've just come back from my friend Beth's fantastic hen do. It was an incredibly well organised event (just how I like it!) and Beth made us all these wonderful name badges featuring the cutest little hen I've ever seen - I'd like to wear it everyday but safety first - my mum always said you shouldn't wear anything with your name on or a stranger could steal you on the way home from school!!!
